James Bear was Manager of the Pocahontas Telphone Company from 1920 until his retirement in 1959 when it was sold to Telephone Utilities of West Virginia. James Martin Bear, born 1891 in Churchville, Va. to John Trimble and Nannie Martin Bear. Married Minnie McClune of Hillsboro who died in 1968.
