Project Restoration Sign at the Pearl S. Buck Birthplace in Hillsboro, W.Va. Shows people gathered in front of the museum for the 1974 Grand Opening. Sign reads: "This project is sponsored by: the West Virginia Antiquities Commission, federation of Women's Clubs, and the Pearl S. Buck Birthplace Foundation. Restoration of this property, which is listed in The National Register of Historic Places, has been funded with the assistance of a matching grant from the Department of the Interior, National Park Service, under provisions of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966."
